Is Alois Borderline?
Thinking about Alois….of course he is not psychologically normal….his experiences must have traumatised him someway…..
I love psychology and reading about Personality Disorder i thought he is a Borderline:
First,I read that sexual abuse (Old Earl Trancy),neglect (villagers), psychological abuse during childhood might develop in a Borderline personality….
Other symptoms are:
They can’t control rage and they are aggressive … and Alois can’t control them too.
They have a continue and desperate fear of being left alone and they try to avoid it. This fear may lead to frantic attempts to hold on to those around you. Or it may cause you to reject others before they can reject you.
They have problems with sex promiscuity,for example.
Intense emotions and mood swing,change of humour.
Suicidal attempts and thoughts (the time he wanted to throw himself from the clock tower in order to attract Claude’s attention).
Unstable relationships, alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation.
difficulty in maintaining any course of action that offers no immediate reward.
Doesn’t it sound exactly like him =0?
